Brittany’s finest food has always been found not in restaurants, but in its markets : in the hands of the cheesemaker, the cider producer, the charcutier who has been at the same stall for thirty years. This guided walking tour takes you there.

Over the course of a morning, your guide leads your group through the historic streets of either Vannes or Auray, stopping at four to five carefully selected artisan producers and market stalls. Along the way you will taste regional cheeses, pastries, chocolates, charcuterie, seafood specialties, and other seasonal Breton delicacies — and meet the people behind them.

This is not simply a tasting tour. It is an introduction to the food culture of a region that takes what it grows, catches, and produces with quiet seriousness. Your guide brings the stories behind the products, the history of the towns, and the kind of local knowledge that no guidebook carries.

The pace is relaxed and unhurried. There is time to browse, to ask questions, and to simply enjoy the atmosphere of two of Brittany’s most beloved market towns.
